Questions about this product
- Will this nickel strip work with my standard 18650 spot welder?
- Yes, this strip is designed specifically for spot welding. It works perfectly with standard spot welders to create secure, low-resistance connections on 18650 battery cells. Just make sure to adjust your welder's power settings based on the strip thickness you choose.
- Is this pure nickel, or is it made of nickel-plated steel?
- These strips are made of nickel-plated steel. The steel core provides excellent strength, while the nickel plating ensures good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. This makes it an affordable, reliable option for your battery building projects.
- Which thickness option should I choose for my battery pack project?
- We offer thicknesses from 0.1mm to 0.2mm. Thicker strips handle higher current loads but require more powerful spot welders to bond properly. For low-drain devices, 0.1mm is easy to weld, while 0.2mm is better for high-power applications.
