- How thick a nickel strip can this welder handle?
- It welds nickel strip up to 0.3 mm thick, with current from 50 to 800 amps. The 9 power gears let you dial in heat for thinner strips too. For thicker bus bars beyond 0.3 mm, this unit isn't the right tool.
- What is this spot welder mainly used for?
- It's built for assembling lithium battery packs by welding nickel strips onto cells. People use it for power tool packs, e-bike batteries, and DIY builds. It also handles small electronic battery repairs.
- Does it come with everything I need to start?
- It includes nickel sheets so you can begin right away, plus a welding pen and a foot pedal. You get both automatic and pedal-triggered modes. You'll still need your own cells and any battery holders for assembly.
