Questions about this product
- What are the main projects I can build with this portable spot welder?
- This welder is designed for assembling and repairing 18650 lithium battery packs. It is perfect for building DIY powerwalls, solar storage banks, custom flashlights, and replacing damaged cells in RC drone battery packs.
- What kind of power source do I need to run this welder?
- You need an external DC power source with a wide input range of 12V to 24V. It works great with standard 12V car batteries, large LiPo packs, or dedicated workshop DC power supplies.
- What is the maximum thickness of nickel strip this machine can weld?
- This spot welder is rated to bond nickel strips up to 0.15mm thick. You can fine-tune the welding current through 90 adjustable gears to match your specific strip thickness and avoid damaging sensitive battery cells.
