This mini digital dry bath incubator is a microprocessor controlled heating block that holds a set temperature up to 100°C for small sample tubes, including the tubes you spin in a laboratory centrifuge. It has an LED display for time and temperature, runs on 24V DC and is sold with one block of your choice: 0.2ml x 40, 0.5ml x 24, 1.5ml x 15 or 2.0ml x 15 tubes.
Features and benefits:
- Temperature control range of room temperature plus 5°C up to 100°C, with a setting range of 0°C to 100°C and display accuracy of 0.1°C: easy to set and read for tube warming work.
- Stability of ±0.5°C at 100°C and ±0.3°C at 40°C, with block uniformity of ±0.3°C: steady conditions across the tubes.
- Heats from 20°C to 100°C in 15 minutes or less: short wait before a run.
- Timer from 1 second to 999 seconds or 1 minute to 999 minutes, plus temperature deviation correction: set a run length and trim the reading.
- Over temperature protection and automatic fault detection with a buzzer alarm: warns you if something is wrong.
- Aluminium thermal block with a transparent cover: tubes can be checked without lifting the lid.
- Small and light for moving between benches: 110mm wide, 156mm deep and 92mm high.
Applications:
- Warming microtubes and PCR tubes in school and teaching laboratories
- Holding centrifuge tubes at a set temperature on the workshop bench before or after spinning
- Small scale food, cosmetics and brewing lab checks
- Mobile work on a 24V vehicle power supply
In the box:
One mini dry bath with one block of your chosen size (MINI-A, MINI-B, MINI-C or MINI-D). Other blocks are optional extras.
Note: This unit uses natural cooling and has no heating cover. The standard power supply is 24V DC, so check the plug and supply for your socket before use. Choose the block size carefully, as only one is included. This is a heating block, not a centrifuge, and it does not spin samples.

Vehicle use: Suitable for 24V vehicle power supply. Q: What is a mini dry bath incubator used for? A: It heats a metal block that holds small sample tubes at a set temperature, with no water needed. This unit controls from room temperature plus 5°C up to 100°C and shows time and temperature on an LED display.. Q: Can I use this with tubes from a laboratory centrifuge? A: Yes, the blocks take 0.2ml, 0.5ml, 1.5ml and 2.0ml tubes, the common sizes spun in a laboratory centrifuge. The dry bath only heats the tubes; it does not spin them.. Q: Which block sizes does this dry bath take? A: There are four blocks: 0.2ml x 40 tubes, 0.5ml x 24 tubes, 1.5ml x 15 tubes and 2.0ml x 15 tubes. One block is included, chosen in the options.. Q: How accurate is the temperature on this dry block heater? A: Stability is ±0.5°C at 100°C and ±0.3°C at 40°C, with block uniformity of ±0.3°C. The display reads to 0.1°C.. Q: How fast does it heat up? A: It heats from 20°C to 100°C in 15 minutes or less. Cooling is natural cooling, so allow time before handling the block..
