- I have an M.2 SATA drive, will this enclosure work for it?
- It depends on which version you choose, so it's important to select the right one. You must get the 'Dual Protocol' model, which supports both M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA drives. The 'NVMe 10Gbps' model only works with NVMe drives.
- How does the 'tool-free' installation work?
- It's a simple process that doesn't need any screws. You just slide the aluminium cover off, insert your M.2 SSD into the slot, and then use the included silicone plug to secure the end of the drive in place.
- What's the difference between the 'NVMe' and 'Dual Protocol' versions?
- The 'NVMe' version is for NVMe M-Key SSDs only and runs at 10Gbps. The 'Dual Protocol' version works with both NVMe M-Key and SATA B&M-Key SSDs. If you need to use a SATA drive, or want the flexibility to use either type, you must choose the Dual Protocol model.
