- It's made for electronics rework like BGA reballing, SMD soldering, and general assembly. The syringe gives you controlled, precise dabs on small parts. The rosin paste helps form clean, strong solder joints.
- Do I have to clean off the residue after?
- It's a no-clean flux, so the leftover residue is non-corrosive and safe to leave on most boards. Many techs still wipe it for a tidy finish. The residue is low-tack and transparent, so it won't gum up the work.
- Does this flux work with lead-free solder?
- Yes, the NC-559-ASM formula is lead-free compatible and meets environmental standards for electronics work. It handles the higher temps lead-free solder needs, working roughly from 150C to 300C. It's also low-halide and won't harm sensitive components.
