Grade 12.9 is one of the strongest classes of fasteners available, offering a minimum tensile strength of 1220 MPa. These screws handle extreme mechanical stress and resist shearing much better than standard steel. The black finish adds a layer of corrosion protection for typical indoor or oiled environments.
Do I need to buy matching washers and nuts separately for this kit?
No, this is a complete fastening kit. It comes with matching metric nuts and flat washers for all included screw sizes from M2 through M6. You get everything needed for a full assembly in one package.
Can I use these black carbon steel screws for outdoor or marine applications?
These high-tensile screws are not recommended for wet or marine environments. The black finish provides light rust resistance, but carbon steel will eventually rust when exposed to constant moisture.
