- Will these stainless flange screws rust outdoors or near saltwater?
- They're A2-304 stainless steel, so they hold up well against rust, water, and mild chemicals. That makes them a good fit for outdoor, marine, and food-processing setups. For constant heavy salt spray, A4-316 stainless would resist corrosion even better.
- What does the serrated washer under the head actually do?
- The serrations bite into the mating surface as you tighten, so the bolt resists loosening from vibration. It acts as a self-locking fastener and skips the need for a separate lock washer. That's handy for trailer parts and automotive joints that shake a lot.
- What sizes come in the 10-piece set?
