- Will these standoffs fit standard PC motherboards and cases?
- Yes, these work great for standard PC builds. Most motherboards use M3 threads, while some cases require M3 or M2.5. Since this pack includes M2.5, M3, and M4 sizes, you can match your specific case and board threading easily.
- What is the height of these spacers, and can I stack them together?
- Every standoff in this set has a uniform 6mm height. Thanks to the male-female threaded design, you can easily screw them into each other to create taller custom clearances. Just make sure your threads match, as we offer them in M2.5, M3, and M4 sizes.
- Will these brass standoffs cause an electrical short on my PCB?
- These standoffs actually prevent shorts by keeping your PCB raised 6mm off the metal chassis. Brass does conduct electricity with a 28% IACS rating, which helps ground your board safely when contact is intended. However, you must ensure they only touch designated grounding pads on your board to avoid accidental shorts.
