- These tubes have a 2:1 shrink ratio, meaning they shrink to half their original diameter. This 127-piece assortment includes various starting diameters like 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm, and 5.0 mm.
- What temperature range can this heat shrink tubing handle once installed?
- Once applied, the tubing safely operates in temperatures from -55 °C up to 125 °C. It provides reliable electrical insulation with a dielectric strength of 15 kV/mm. The material also has a VW-1 flammability rating.
- What tool do I need to shrink the tubing, and how hot does it need to get?
- You should use a heat gun to shrink the tubing evenly. The material starts shrinking at 70 °C and reaches full shrinkage at 110 °C. Avoid open flames so you don't burn the polyolefin.
