This mini dry bath incubator holds sample tubes in a replaceable anodised aluminium block and heats them to a set temperature from RT+5 to 100°C, with a 1 minute to 99 hour 59 minute timer. It is sold in three versions: M-JSY-H (heating only), M-JSY-HF (heating with fast fan cooling) and M-JSY-HL (heating and semiconductor cooling, 10 to 100°C), each with a dual-row LCD and touch membrane buttons.
Features and benefits:
- Temperature accuracy of ≤±0.3°C, fluctuation and block uniformity of ≤±0.5°C and display accuracy of ±0.1°C - steady conditions across every tube in the block
- Real-time temperature and countdown timer shown together on a dual-row LCD - check progress at a glance
- Multi-point programming of up to 5 temperature and time sets - run multi-step protocols without resetting by hand
- Temperature deviation correction - adjust the reading to match a reference thermometer
- Replaceable aluminium heating blocks - swap modules to suit the tube size and clean them after use
- Startup self-check, over-temperature protection and fault alarm - built-in safeguards during unattended runs
- Transparent insulation cover and ventilated ABS housing - limits heat loss and lets you see the tubes while they run
Applications:
- Denaturing nucleic acid and protein samples
- Holding enzymes and running timed tube reactions
- Warming PCR samples before a run or before electrophoresis
- Serum clotting tests and general sample warming or holding
- Milk testing with the 32 x 0.2ml block
In the box:
Per unit: 1 x dry bath main unit and 1 module block. The block fitted depends on the option you pick.
Note: The power supply has an EU type plug; use a UK adapter. Allow the block to cool before removing tubes or swapping modules. Keep the unit dry and use it for laboratory, workshop, school, food and brewing tasks.

A: It holds sample tubes at a fixed temperature in a heated metal block with no water needed. Typical jobs include enzyme reactions, nucleic acid and protein denaturation, PCR sample preparation and serum coagulation.. Q: What is the difference between a dry bath and a water bath? A: A water bath heats samples through a tank of water, while a dry bath heats them through a snug-fitting aluminium block. This one has no water to top up or clean, and the block can be swapped to fit different tube sizes.. Q: Which model should I choose, H, HF or HL? A: The H heats only and cools naturally, the HF adds fast fan cooling, and the HL adds semiconductor cooling so it can hold temperatures from 10°C. The H and HF start from room temperature plus 5°C.. Q: Can it run more than one temperature step? A: Yes. It stores up to 5 temperature and time sets, so a multi-step protocol can run in sequence.. Q: How do I use a dry bath in the laboratory? A: Fit the block that matches your tubes, set the temperature and time on the touch panel, then place the tubes in the wells and close the transparent cover. The screen shows the current temperature and the countdown..
