- What are the measurement limits for the pH and chlorine readings on this meter?
- This meter measures pH levels from 6.0 to 8.0 and chlorine levels from 0.2 to 3.0 ppm. These ranges are ideal for standard pool and spa maintenance. However, the device will not read accurately if your water chemistry falls outside of these limits.
- Does the PC-101 meter come with the battery required to run it?
- No, the package doesn't include the battery needed to operate the device. You will need to purchase a single AA 1.5V battery separately before you can use it. The box contains the main digital meter and the attached 150 mm probe.
- Can I use this meter to test my home drinking water or aquarium?
- No, this handheld meter is built specifically for monitoring pools, spas, and hot tubs. The testing sensors are calibrated for recreational water levels rather than tap water. It won't provide correct readings for drinking water or home aquariums.
