- It tracks down electrical faults in 12V and 24V vehicle systems. You can spot open circuits, shorts, and check whether a component is getting power. The LED indicator lights up so you can see results at the probe.
- Will it work on both car and truck electrical systems?
- Yes. It handles 12V and 24V systems, so cars, trucks, and heavy equipment are all covered. The operating range runs from 6V to 30V DC, and it reads 6V to 24V AC too. It's also handy for trailer wiring.
- Is it protected if I hit a circuit with too much current?
- It has a built-in 10A fuse for overload protection. That shields both the tester and the vehicle's wiring if something goes wrong. The ABS housing and PVC-insulated cable add a layer of safety during use.
