- Will this camera probe fit inside standard spark plug holes for cylinder inspections?
- Yes, the slim 6.0mm probe easily slides into most spark plug openings. The one-meter cable provides plenty of length to reach deep into tight engine bays.
- Can I submerge the camera probe in water or engine oil to check for leaks?
- The probe features an IP67 waterproof rating, so brief contact with water and cool fluids is perfectly fine. Keep the probe under 45°C and never submerge the hand-held LCD monitor.
- How does the articulation help when inspecting valves and cylinder walls?
- You turn a manual thumbwheel to bend the camera tip up to 180 degrees. This allows you to look backward at engine valves without feeding the cable through blind angles.
