- How do I install these expansion bolts in concrete?
- Drill a hole to the matching diameter, then hammer the bolt in and tighten the nut to set the wedge. For the M10 size, you drill a 12mm hole and embed at least 50mm deep. The expansion happens as you torque it down.
- What sizes are available and how strong are they?
- They come in M6, M8, M10, M12, and M16. The M10 has a proof load near 17.7 kN and roughly 10 kN shear in C25 concrete. Larger sizes hold heavier loads like machinery bases and railings.
