- Will this rotary burr fit my standard die grinder or Dremel tool?
- This rotary burr features a standard 1/4-inch (6.35mm) shank size. It fits most standard handheld die grinders and CNC machines with a 1/4-inch collet. However, it is too large for standard Dremel tools, which usually require a 1/8-inch shank.
- What is the maximum speed I can run this burr at safely?
- You can run this tungsten carbide burr up to a maximum speed of 35,000 RPM. For the best control and tool life, match your speed to the material you are cutting. Make sure you always run the tool in a right-hand rotation as designed.
- Why should I choose a single-cut burr instead of a double-cut one?
- Single-cut flutes give you a much finer finish on your workpiece with less tool chatter. They offer excellent control during detailed carving, especially on hardwoods, plastics, and non-ferrous metals. While double-cut burrs remove material faster, they tend to leave a much rougher surface.
