- What does this manual transfer switch actually do?
- It lets you safely switch a circuit between two AC power sources, like mains and a generator. The manual action prevents backfeed and gives you a visible break for safe isolation. You move the switch by hand, so there's no automatic changeover.
- Which amp rating and pole count should I pick?
- It comes in 40A and 63A, so match the rating to your main supply circuit. Choose 1P or 2P for single-phase systems and 3P or 4P for three-phase. Pick the pole count based on how many conductors you need to switch.
- How does this transfer switch mount in my panel?
- It clips onto standard DIN rail, so installation is tool-free inside most enclosures. Each pole is 18mm wide, which helps you plan panel space. It accepts up to 35mm solid or 25mm flexible conductors.
