- What types of network and phone cables can I test with this device?
- It's compatible with standard RJ45 Ethernet cables like Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a. It also works with RJ11 telephone lines. The tester handles wiremap checks, PoE status, and connection speeds up to 1000 Mbps.
- How far can this tester measure, and how accurate are the length readings?
- This tool measures cable runs up to 200 meters long. The length readings are accurate to within 2% of the actual distance. This helps you quickly locate the exact spot of a cable break or short.
- Does the tester come with a battery and the remote testing unit?
- It includes the main unit and a 50-gram remote unit for tracing cables. However, you'll need to buy a 9V alkaline battery separately to power the device.
