- What are these three-hole coupling nuts for?
- They join furniture and frame components with a locking, vibration-resistant connection. The flange spreads the clamping load and the three holes let you screw it down so it won't spin loose. Good for desks, racks, and workbench joints.
- How do the three flange holes get fixed down?
- The flange has a three-hole mounting pattern, with holes around 4 to 5.5mm. You run screws through them into the panel or frame to lock the nut in place. That stops rotation and keeps the joint tight under vibration.
- Will these nuts hold up against rust and loosening?
- They're carbon steel with zinc plating around 5 to 8 microns, which resists rust in normal indoor use. The flange and locking feature fight loosening from vibration. For outdoor or playground use, keep an eye on the coating over time.
