- Yes, they feature a standard hex shank that fits securely into standard three-jaw drill chucks. You can use them with hand drills, drill presses, and magnetic drill stands. Just ensure your chuck can hold a ten or thirteen-millimeter shank.
- How deep can I drill with these hole saws, and what are the speed limits?
- These hole saws have a maximum cutting depth capacity of about 25 to 35 millimeters. For larger diameters, you must run your drill at a reduced speed of 100 to 300 RPM. Pushing the speed too high will quickly ruin the carbide tips.
- What is the best way to keep the carbide teeth from dulling or breaking?
- You should always apply a cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling into hard metal alloys. Keep your drill speed low and don't force the tool. This keeps the teeth cool and prevents the carbide from chipping or wearing out early.
