Questions about this product
- What is the difference between the active and passive buzzers in this kit?
- The active buzzer plays a single 2.5kHz tone as soon as it receives power. The passive buzzer needs an external PWM or AC signal to work. This allows you to program custom melodies and varying sound frequencies.
- Will this buzzer module work with my Raspberry Pi or ESP32?
- Yes, this module works with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels. You can connect it directly to GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or Arduino. The board draws under 30 mA, so it's safe for these controllers.
- How do I wire this board and trigger the sound?
- Connect VCC to your power source, GND to ground, and the I/O pin to your controller. This board uses an active-low trigger. That means you'll pull the signal pin LOW to turn the buzzer on.
