- Will this hinge fit my 2020 and 4040 aluminum extrusion?
- Yes. It works with 2020, 3030, 3040, and 4040 series profiles. The mounting slot is 6mm wide, so it seats in standard T-slots on those sizes.
- How much weight can one of these hinges hold?
- Each hinge is rated for a 15kg load. The zinc alloy (Zamak) body and machined pivot keep doors and panels turning smoothly without sagging. For heavier doors, spread the weight across two or more hinges.
- How do I mount it and how far does it swing?
- It uses T-slot mounting, so it slides into the profile channel and bolts down through 5mm holes. No drilling into the extrusion needed. The hinge opens a full 180 degrees.
