- What are these screws best for?
- These screws are specifically designed for metal roofing and cladding. They're great for fastening corrugated metal panels to steel framing, and for attaching metal trim, gutters, and downspouts. They also work well for general sheet metal jobs.
- What materials are these screws made from?
- You can choose between 410 or 304 stainless steel, or carbon steel. The carbon steel option is typically zinc plated for protection. All screws come with an integrated EPDM or neoprene sealing washer to prevent leaks.
- How thick of metal can these screws drill through?
- The M4.2 screws can drill through steel up to 14 gauge (1.9 mm). For thicker materials, the M4.8 screws can go through steel up to 12 gauge (2.7 mm) in thickness.
