- Why pick a right-angle RCA plug instead of a straight one?
- The 90-degree elbow lets the cable exit sideways instead of straight back. That saves space behind a receiver or amp and keeps the cable from bending hard at the jack. Less strain means the plug and the port both last longer.
- How do I attach the wire to this connector?
- It uses a solder terminal, so you solder the center and ground wires to the lugs. That gives a permanent, low-resistance joint that pros prefer over crimp types. You'll need a soldering iron and basic skill to fit it.
- Does this work for both audio and video?
- Yes. It's a standard 75-ohm RCA male plug, so it carries line-level audio or composite video the same way. The gold-plated brass contact keeps the signal clean. Use it anywhere a normal RCA jack is present.
