- This saw handles round and rectangular stock up to 100 mm or 4 inches thick. You can make straight cuts or bevel cuts up to 45 degrees within this limit. It's perfect for common pipes, angle iron, and metal studs.
- What replacement blades do I need to buy for this saw?
- You need standard 44-inch metal-cutting band saw blades that are 1/2 inch wide and 0.5 mm thick. The saw works best with blades having a 14 to 18 TPI count for general metalwork. You can easily adjust the blade tracking with the built-in guide bearings.
- Can I use this band saw for angled cuts, or is it only for straight horizontal cuts?
- Yes, you can easily make angled cuts with this tool. It has a bevel cutting range from 0 to 45 degrees. This lets you switch quickly between straight horizontal cuts and precise miter joints on the job site.
