- What lengths come in the set, and how much weight do they hold?
- You get two hinges, available in eight lengths from 6 up to 48 inches. Each leaf is 1 inch wide. The continuous design supports roughly 15 to 20 kg per linear foot, so longer hinges carry heavier doors.
- How do these mount, and are holes pre-drilled?
- They surface mount with countersunk screw holes spaced about every 50mm. The pre-drilled pattern lets you screw straight into wood or other materials without measuring each hole. The 3.5mm holes take standard countersunk screws.
- Where do piano hinges like these work best?
- They run the full length of a joint, so they spread weight evenly and stop doors from sagging. That makes them a good fit for cabinet doors, wooden boxes, instrument cases, and tool chests. The steel build with a marine-grade finish also suits boats and outdoor furniture.
