- You should keep your drill speed between 300 and 500 RPM when cutting metals. Running them faster can overheat the teeth and dull the M42 steel prematurely. For best results, use cutting oil to keep the temperature down during deep cuts.
- What range of hole sizes can I cut with this set, and how deep?
- This kit cuts large-diameter holes ranging from 102mm up to 220mm. The physical cutting depth of the cup is about 30 to 40mm. That makes it perfect for going through standard metal studs or thick wooden beams.
