- What size air compressor do I need to run this spray gun?
- You need a compressor that can supply 7 CFM of air flow at 40 PSI. We recommend keeping your operating air pressure between 40 and 60 PSI. The tool connects easily to your hose with a standard 1/4-inch NPT inlet.
- How much paint does the cup hold and what nozzle sizes are included?
- The included gravity-feed cup holds up to 600 ml of paint or clear coat. You also get interchangeable 1.3 mm and 1.4 mm nozzles in the kit. These sizes let you swap easily between thin stains and medium-weight topcoats.
- Can I use this gun to spray thick latex paint or heavy primers?
- This HVLP setup works best with thinner liquids like automotive finishes and wood lacquers. The 1.3mm and 1.4mm nozzles are too small for thick latex paints or heavy primers. For safe and consistent spraying, do not exceed the maximum fluid pressure of 45 PSI.
