Diamond Cutting Discs | 125mm Glass Cutting Blade | For Ceramic & Tile

Use this 125mm diamond cutting disc with your angle grinder. It makes clean cuts on hard, breakable materials. The continuous rim and fine diamond grit cut through glass and tile. This helps prevent chipping. Its very thin body reduces heat and rubbing for a smoother finish. Features and Benefits - Continuous diamond rim - This gives a smooth, chip-free cut on delicate items like glass and ceramic tile. - Very thin 1mm design - It makes a narrow cut. This puts less stress on the material and your grinder. - Wet or dry cutting - You can use it dry. Using it with water cools the blade. This gives a better finish and makes the blade last longer. - Wide material range - It cuts glass, ceramic, porcelain tile, jade, and even crystal. Applications - Cutting glass bottles or sheets for art and craft projects. - Sizing porcelain and ceramic tiles for floors or walls. - Shaping hard materials like jade or crystal for custom work. Key Uses & Applications This 125mm glass cutting blade is designed for precise work on delicate materials. Its diamond material construction makes it ideal for cutting marble, ceramic tile, jade, crystal, and glass. Whether you are undertaking home DIY projects or more intricate tasks, this disc provides a clean and efficient cut. The 115mm/125mm diameter ensures compatibility with standard tools, making it a versatile addition to your toolkit for various cutting needs. Grit Guide While specific grit information for this diamond cutting disc is not provided, flap discs generally come in various grits. A lower grit number, like 40 or 60 grit, is suitable for aggressive material removal. For finer finishing or surface preparation, higher grits such as 80 grit or 120 grit are typically used. For sharpening mower blades, a coarse grit flap disc would be appropriate to remove nicks and reshape the edge efficiently. Why Choose a Flap Disc Over a Grinding Wheel? Although this product is a diamond cutting blade, traditionally, flap discs offer advantages over grinding wheels for certain applications. Flap discs provide a smoother finish due to their overlapping abrasive flaps, which wear away evenly. This also results in less gouging and chatter compared to solid grinding wheels. For tasks requiring both material removal and a good finish, or for working on contoured surfaces, a flap disc often proves more versatile. How It Works This 125mm glass cutting blade works by utilising its diamond material to abrade and cut through hard, brittle materials. When attached to a suitable power tool, the disc's rotational force, combined with the extreme hardness of the diamond, allows it to precisely slice through items like ceramic tile, glass, and marble. The design ensures a clean cut, minimising chipping and damage to the delicate surfaces it is intended for. What Is It Used For? This diamond cutting disc is specifically used for cutting a range of hard materials. Its application extends to marble, ceramic tile, jade, crystal, and glass, making it perfect for intricate home DIY projects. It functions as a specialised glass cutting blade, enabling precise cuts on fragile surfaces. Essentially, it is a tool for achieving clean, accurate cuts where traditional abrasive discs might cause damage or an unsatisfactory finish.
