What can I use this feeler gauge set for?
It measures small gaps between two parts. People mostly use it to set valve clearances and check spark plug gaps. It also works for adjusting mechanical parts and verifying part tolerances.
What gap sizes do the 32 blades cover?
The blades run from 0.02mm up to 1.00mm in metric steps. That covers most common valve, spark plug, and tolerance checks. Note this set is metric only, with no inch blades included.
Are the blades made of stainless steel?
Yes. All 32 blades are stainless steel, so they resist rust and hold their accuracy over time. Each blade has its thickness etched on it for quick reading. They fold into a riveted steel holder.
