- What kind of drill bits does this hammer drill use?
- This tool features an SDS-Plus chuck system for quick bit changes. You can swap out compatible SDS-Plus bits rapidly without using any extra wrenches. Standard smooth round-shank drill bits will not lock into this chuck.
- What is the maximum hole size I can drill with this tool?
- You can drill holes up to 28mm in concrete and masonry. For other jobs, the capacity limits are 30mm in wood and 13mm in steel. This capability easily covers most common anchoring and plumbing installations.
- Can I use this rotary hammer to remove old bathroom tiles?
- You can absolutely switch this tool to its chiseling-only mode for light demolition work. It delivers 2.8 Joules of impact energy to clear away old tiles and mortar. Simply insert an SDS-Plus chisel bit to get started.
