What It Is This is a 150mm Cordless Sander, featuring a brushless motor. It operates as an orbital sander, designed for both sanding and car polishing tasks. Its cordless nature provides flexibility in use without being tethered to a power outlet. The 150mm pad size is equivalent to 6 inches, offering a good surface area for efficient work. It incorporates a central vacuum system for dust management during operation. Key Uses & Applications This cordless orbital sander is ideal for two primary applications: general sanding tasks and automotive polishing. For sanding, its orbital action helps achieve a smooth finish on various materials. When used for car polishing, the 150mm pad and orbital motion allow for effective application of polishes, contributing to a high-quality finish on vehicle surfaces. The brushless motor ensures efficient power delivery for both uses. How to Choose When selecting a cordless sander, consider its intended applications. This particular model is suitable for both sanding and car polishing. The 150mm pad size is versatile. Being cordless offers freedom of movement, which is beneficial for automotive work or jobs without easy access to power. A brushless motor typically offers longer tool life and better efficiency. The central vacuum system is a practical feature for dust control. Grit / Spec Guide For sanding, grit selection depends on the material and desired finish. Coarser grits (e.g., 60-80) are for aggressive material removal, while finer grits (e.g., 180-220) are for smoother finishes. For car polishing, specific polishing pads and compounds are used, not sandpaper grits. Always match the disc size to the 150mm pad. Ensure discs have appropriate holes for the central vacuum system to function effectively. Care & Safety Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection and a dust mask, especially when sanding. Ensure the work area is well-ventilated. Before changing discs or performing maintenance, always remove the battery. Regularly clean the central vacuum system to maintain efficient dust extraction. Store the cordless sander in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prolong its lifespan.
