- What are the maximum temperature and strength limits for this adhesive?
- This epoxy handles continuous temperatures up to 150°C and resists cold down to -60°C. It delivers a high tensile strength of over 25 MPa and shear strength of at least 18 MPa. These limits make the bond ideal for demanding environments like engine blocks or machinery.
- Will this epoxy bond different materials like metal and plastic together?
- Yes, it binds various materials including iron, steel, aluminum, copper, ceramics, hard plastics, and wood. The formula creates a strong, permanent seal across these different surfaces. It also resists water, oils, fuels, and mild solvents after curing.
- How do I mix this epoxy and how long does it take to cure?
- Dispense equal parts of resin and hardener from the dual syringe, then mix them thoroughly at a 1:1 ratio. You have a pot life of about 5 to 15 minutes to apply the paste. It reaches an initial cure in 60 to 90 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours.
