- Yes, these plates are compatible with standard European-style hinge mounting plates. The pre-drilled hole pattern lets you mount them directly over your old, stripped screw holes. They work great for standard cabinets, heavy solid wood doors, and modern overlays.
- How do I install these plates over my damaged cabinet wood?
- You just screw the plate directly over the damaged area using M4 mounting screws. The plate covers the stripped holes and creates a fresh, solid surface. Once the plate is secure, you mount your hinge right onto it.
- What are the physical dimensions and thickness of these repair plates?
- Each plate measures approximately 30 mm by 40 mm and has a thickness of 1.5 mm. The pre-drilled holes have a 4 mm diameter to fit standard mounting screws. Despite their slim profile, they weigh about 5 grams each and distribute weight evenly to stop door sagging.
