- What power cord works with this inlet?
- It's a standard IEC C14 inlet, so any common C13 power cord plugs right in. Those are the same cords used on PCs and audio gear. That makes finding a matching cable easy.
- How do I wire and mount this socket?
- It panel-mounts through a cutout of about 30.5 by 20.5 mm and locks in place with a nut. The three screw terminals take wire up to 14 AWG for line, neutral, and ground. A panel thickness of 1.0 to 2.5 mm works.
- How much power can this IEC inlet carry?
- It's rated 10A at 250V AC, which works out to about 2500W. That's plenty for amplifiers and most audio or DIY electronics. The dielectric strength is tested at 2000V AC for one minute.
