- Yes, this silicone sealant handles extreme temperatures from -60°C up to +200°C once fully cured. It stays highly flexible with over 300% elongation, so it won't crack when your vehicle's frame vibrates. Plus, it is completely waterproof to keep rain and snow out.
- Is this adhesive meant for installing a new windshield or just fixing small leaks?
- You can use this high-strength adhesive for both tasks. It works perfectly for sealing leaks around existing windows and installing new automotive glass. It also serves as a general waterproof repair glue for other areas on your vehicle.
- How does this adhesive cure, and do I need any special tools to apply it?
- This is a room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone that cures using moisture in the air. It comes in a 100-gram cartridge with a 46-millimeter diameter. You will just need a standard cartridge gun to apply the high-viscosity paste smoothly.
