- How does the 2-in-1 design make it easier to install this motor in my rig?
- This unit combines the brushless motor and the 40A ESC into a single housing. You will not have to find a mounting spot for a separate speed controller. It dramatically cuts down on messy wiring inside your chassis and keeps your layout clean.
- What batteries and gear sizes are compatible with this motor system?
- You can power this system with a 2S or 3S LiPo battery using the pre-installed XT60 connector. It fits most 1/10 and 1/8 scale trail trucks. The motor features a standard 3.175mm shaft, so it works with common 1/8-inch pinion gears.
- Can I run this motor in wet conditions, and what are its limits?
- Yes, the unit is waterproof with an IPX4 or higher rating to handle mud and wet trails. However, you should avoid fully submerging the vehicle for long periods. Be sure to dry the components thoroughly after running in wet environments.
