- Will this tester work on any automotive relay?
- This detector is designed for standard 4-pin and 5-pin automotive relays. It supports systems operating between 11V and 25V DC. However, it won't work on non-automotive relays or those outside this voltage range.
- How do I power the tester to start running a test?
- You power the unit directly from your vehicle's 11V to 25V battery. Just plug the relay into the correct socket and connect the tester to the battery terminals. The 100 cm cable gives you plenty of reach under the hood.
- What happens if I accidentally connect the power leads backward?
- You don't have to worry about damaging the tester if you mix up the connections. It features built-in reverse polarity protection to keep the device safe from wiring mistakes. The unit simply won't power on until you connect the clips correctly.
