Questions about this product
- Is this a pressure reducing valve? Can I adjust the output pressure?
- No, this is a one-way check valve, also called a non-return valve. It's designed to let fluid or gas flow in only one direction and stop it from flowing back. It does not regulate or reduce the system pressure.
- How do I know which way round to fit it?
- The valve body has an arrow moulded onto the plastic. You must install the valve with this arrow pointing in the direction you want the gas or water to flow.
- What pipe sizes does this fit and what's it made of?
- This is a PP plastic valve designed for low-pressure systems at normal temperatures. We offer it with port sizes to fit 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" lines for either gas or water.
