Questions about this product

Will this tool work on both my mountain bike and road bike hydraulic brakes?: Yes, it works for both systems. This tool supports BH90 and BH59 hose standards, the most common setups on modern road and mountain bikes. It easily fits standard bicycle hydraulic hoses with an outer diameter of around 5mm.
What does this tool actually do during a brake hose installation?: This hand tool lets you install the barbed needle and compression olive onto your hydraulic brake hose. The specialized jaw design aligns the parts perfectly, pushing the needle straight into the hose. This precise fit prevents costly fluid leaks and keeps your brakes working safely.
Is this tool durable enough to keep in my daily shop toolbox?: Absolutely. We construct this tool with hardened steel jaws and a steel body to prevent bending under pressure. The ergonomic handles feature a non-slip polymer grip, making it reliable for repeated shop or home use.
