- Will this repair kit work on any type of inflatable or vinyl fabric?
- This kit is designed specifically for PVC and vinyl materials, including inflatable boats, rafts, and air mattresses. It also works on hypalon vessels. However, it isn't meant for non-PVC plastics or standard rubber materials.
- How long does the patch take to cure before I can use my inflatable?
- The solvent adhesive bonds very quickly, but you must wait 24 to 72 hours for a full cure. Don't inflate your boat or mattress to full pressure until this curing window has passed. Testing the seal early can ruin the chemical weld.
- Can this repair hold up in hot weather or under high pressure?
- Yes, the chemical bond is rated for temperatures ranging from -20°C up to 70°C. The reinforced patches and heavy-duty adhesive are built to withstand high PSI and constant flexing without peeling. It also resists both fresh and salt water.
