- Each strut supports about 8 to 12 kg, with a force rating around 80 to 100 N. For a single heavy door you can pair two struts to share the load. Match the total to your door's actual weight for a reliable hold-open.
- What are the dimensions for mounting these?
- They measure 150 mm compressed and extend to 250 mm, giving a 100 mm stroke. The cylinder is 16 mm and the shaft is 8 mm. Check your cabinet opening height against that stroke before you drill any mounting holes.
- How many struts come in the set?
- You get four gas strut lift supports in the set. That's enough for several smaller doors or to double up on one large unit. The kit is meant for overhead and wall-mounted cabinet doors.
