- Which batteries and chargers work with this trimmer?
- This tool runs on the Makita 18V LXT rechargeable battery platform. You can use any standard 18V LXT battery and charger you already own. It will not work with other battery brands or different Makita voltage lines.
- What size router bits can I use with the DRT50?
- The trimmer features a 6mm collet chuck that also accepts standard quarter-inch shank router bits. You can easily use engraving bits, trimming blades, and slotting bits within this size range. The tool allows a maximum cutting depth of about 30 millimeters.
- Does this trimmer come with a battery and charger?
- No, this is a bare tool purchase. The package does not include the Makita 18V LXT battery or charger. You will need to buy those separately if you do not already have them.
