- Yes, this PET sleeving safely handles temperatures ranging from -40°C up to 125°C. It also resists most oils, solvents, and weak acids. This makes it ideal for automotive and industrial environments where heat and chemicals are common.
- How do I stop the braided ends from fraying when I cut them?
- We recommend cutting this PET material with a hot knife to seal the edges instantly. If you use scissors, quickly melt the cut ends with a lighter to stop fraying. You can then secure the ends with heat shrink tubing or cable ties.
