- You don't need to buy any extra batteries to run this circuit tester. It draws its power directly from the vehicle battery using the included clamps. Just hook the clamps to the vehicle under test to start your diagnostics.
- How does this tool actually help me locate a short circuit without stripping the wires?
- The tester uses signal tracing to find the exact spot of a short or open circuit. You connect the transmitter, then run the wired probe along the wire harness. An LED indicator and piezo buzzer will signal when you reach the fault.
