Will this monitor work with my AGM or GEL batteries, or is it only for standard lead-acid?
Yes, this monitor works with several 12V and 24V lead-acid battery types. You can use it to test standard flooded, AGM, GEL, and EFB batteries. Just note that it is not compatible with lithium-ion batteries.
Can I leave this monitor permanently connected to my battery without draining it?
You can safely leave this monitor connected directly to your battery terminals. It draws less than 2 mA of current in standby mode, so it won't drain your vehicle's battery. It also features built-in reverse polarity and overvoltage protection for safe, long-term mounting.
How accurate are the readings, and can it handle extreme winter or summer temperatures?
This monitor measures voltage with an accuracy of ±0.1V and operates safely in temperatures from -20°C to 70°C. It reads internal resistance from 0.1 mΩ to 99.9 mΩ to help you catch battery issues early. The durable ABS plastic housing protects the internal components from engine bay heat.
