- What wire sizes can this tool strip, cut, and crimp?
- This tool strips 10 to 24 AWG wires and cuts copper wires ranging from 10 to 22 AWG. It crimps both insulated and non-insulated terminals from 22 down to 10 AWG. You can also use the crimper on seven to eight millimeter auto ignition terminals.
- Will this wire stripper work on both solid and stranded copper wires?
- Yes, this tool is fully compatible with both solid and stranded electrical wires. The automatic stripping mechanism adjusts to the wire size to give you a clean strip. It also handles cutting and crimping tasks on these same wire types.
- What materials is this tool made of to ensure it lasts?
- The stripping jaws consist of hardened high-carbon steel with a rust-resistant black oxide finish. The tool body features lightweight ABS handles wrapped in a comfortable thermoplastic rubber grip. An integrated return spring opens the tool jaws automatically to reduce your hand strain.
