- Which BMW models does this 20-pin tool work with?
- It's made for the BMW round 20-pin port on the E30, E34, E36, E39, and Z3. It plugs into that under-hood diagnostic socket, not the later OBD-II port. Check that your car has the 20-pin connector first.
- What can this tool actually do?
- It resets the oil service and inspection service lights after you do maintenance. That's its job, so it keeps your service indicators accurate. It does not read or clear engine fault codes.
