- Does this trailer tester come with the battery needed to run it?
- No, the tester does not include a battery. You will need to install a standard 9V PP3 battery before you can use it.
- Will this diagnostic tool work with any type of trailer connection?
- This tester specifically fits 12-volt systems with a 7-pin connector standard (ISO 1724). It won't work on 13-pin setups or 24-volt commercial vehicles.
- Can I use this to test both the car's socket and the trailer's plug?
- Yes, you can test both sides of the connection. It has a male plug for the vehicle and a female socket for the trailer. Twelve total LEDs show you the status of each circuit.
