- Will this AN3 brake line fit my motorcycle and brake fluid?
- It's a universal -3 AN line with a 3.2mm inner diameter and M10 banjo-style ends, so it fits many bikes. It works with DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 brake fluid. Measure your old line and check fitting thread before ordering.
- Is a steel-braided brake hose safe to install myself?
- The steel braid resists swelling and is built to contain high pressure spikes for firmer lever feel. Brakes are safety-critical, so you must bleed the system fully and check for leaks after fitting. If you're unsure, have a mechanic do it.
- How much pressure and heat can this hose handle?
- Maximum working pressure is 20 MPa (200 bar) with a burst rating at or above 80 MPa. It tolerates a temperature range of -40 to +120 degrees C. The PTFE core and steel braid hold up to repeated hard braking heat.
